Christmas, Santa and your Caledon seniors' centre welcome you

Merry Christmas and a joyous Happy CSC@2007 to you and all. What a month to enjoy. Your "wonderland" prepared by Beverly Nurden, staff and you our many volunteers waits. Our regular and seasonal programs have been designed to provide a warm and happy welcome and a grand Caledon Senior Centre "wonderland" experience for you. Join us and be a part of our festivities.

Be a Caledon Senior and Activity Centre booster. CSC@2007 will be our best year yet! Our president Stan Walters, board of directors, staff and our many members and friends who support our centre, volunteers all wish you a well-earned "Merry Christmas" and a "Happy New Year."

With you we will enjoy many, many more. Bigger and better waits. Santa says, "you've been good, enjoy!" So say we!

December Highlights

Wednesday, Dec. 6, noon lunch, December birthdays & anniversaries. Celebrate with us, a Christmas special. Are you a Christmas baby?

Friday, Dec. 8, at 6 p.m. Christmas extravaganza. Turkey dinner, carols, dancing to our Sentimental Gentlemen, Santa's visit and a "Christmas Wonderland" to enjoy. $20/member, $25/ non. Book now! All seating reserved.

Thursday, Dec. 14, PROBUS, Meet & Greet, coffee, 9:30 a.m. Speaker will be Ruth Burkhalder, genealogist, who will speak on "ancestry" and the study of genealogy.

Noon gala Christmas lunch, $12/ member. Merry Christmas to all. Memberships available anytime.

Tuesday, Dec. 19, 11:30 a.m. Christmas card special. "Potluck" luncheon then bridge & euchre, cards & games.

Wednesday, Dec. 20, lunch, 11:30 a.m. carol singing noon potluck luncheon. A Christmas special.

Friday, Dec. 22, the first day of winter! 9:30 a.m. a Christmas Games special. Noon luncheon. 7 p.m. bridge & euchre Christmas special.

Centre closed Dec. 25, 26, 27, 28.

Friday, Dec. 29, 10 a.m. centre opens with a bang. Gala New Year's luncheon party, games, singing, lunch, entertainment and dancing. A Happy New Year's Day to

all. $14/member, $17 nonmembers. At 7:30 p.m. bridge, euchre and games. Lone hands & grand slams for all.

Sunday, Dec. 31, New Year's Eve, Enjoy! "Auld" acquaintances & a malt? & Auld Lang Syne.

Tuesday, Jan. 2, centre open.

Future Peek

January 6, 2007, trip to Mandarin for lunch. $20/person.

January 25, Casino Rama and Glen Campbell. Bus, buffet and show. Bus leaves centre at 9 a.m., returns at 6. $14/person.

February 15, noon, a delicious buffet lunch followed by a Caledon seniors' centre "Show of Shows." The Smile Theatre will present its stellar production "at the hop ...will true love prevail!" $20/person.

Thursday, March 22, Casino Rama trip. $8/person.

Wednesday, March 28, Stage West Guys & Dolls. Bus, buffet lunch, show. Bus leaves C.S.C. at 10 a.m. Tickets available Jan. 2, for $57/person. To reserve your tickets for trips or theatre full payment required. No phone booking or post dated cheques. Members receive priority.
