Coping with holiday grief

Holidays can be a stressful and demanding time for anyone. But, when you are grieving the loss of a loved one, holidays can even be painful and anxious. At a time when all of society is cheerful and publicly celebrating, how can we cope? How can we get through the holiday season without that loved one?

Join Hospice Caledon Monday, Dec. 4 and Monday, Dec. 11 for a twopart workshop on How to cope with the Holidays. Understand why this time of year is more difficult.

Learn to recognize the normal feelings of grief and develop coping mechanisms to help you deal with the pressure of the season.

The sessions will be held at the Courtyards of Caledon in downtown Bolton (18 King St., upper level), from 7-8:30 p.m. Refreshments provided.

Please RSVP by Dec. 1, by calling Hospice Caledon, 905-951-3534 or 1-800-305- 7905. Space limited to the first 30 registrants.
