Caledon Village holds Celebration of Lights

The stage is set for the 12th annual Caledon Village Celebration of Lights, Saturday, Dec. 2. The community is invited to enjoy a carol sing with the community choir and to countdown the lighting of the tree.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Caledon Village Park, next to the church. After the carol sing, greetings will be offered by local dignitaries and members of service clubs and community organizations. The tree will be lit and there will be another carol sing, followed by refreshments and free draws. Parking is available at Eddie Shack Donuts.

Donations of non-perishable food, new toys, new hats and mitts will be distributed throughout Caledon by Caledon Community Services' Santa Fund.Residents are also asked to bring their children's letters to Santa and have a visit with Santa himself.
