HEAD SHAVING AT MACVILLE
Macville public school Grade 8 teacher Phil Hepworth gets his head shaved in a

fund-raising event for the United Way. The event raised $147.60. Renato Tarditi of

Carmine's Men's Hairstyling and Barber Shop, along with Grade 3 pupil Baltej

Sahota and Hepworth's Grade 8 pupils Andrew Jandu and Kayla Santilli, took turns

with the shaver. Macville pupils, staff and the community won the Harold Brathewaite

Award last year for raising money for the United Way with the most creative and

innovative ideas.
