Friday, Dec. 3, there will be a very special dramatic reading of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol, featuring CBC broadcaster Ian Brown, host of the radio program "Talking Books."

Brown will be one of the readers presenting

Dickens's classic Christmas story of Scrooge and Tiny Tim. As a joint production of CBC Radio and Claude Church, this event includes the dramatic and musical talents of a number of notable Caledon residents, as well as the wonderfully talented Forget Me Nots choir.

Tickets are $10 and proceeds go entirely to Caledon Community Services. Audience members are requested to bring donations of nonperishable food for the Caledon food bank.

Tickets are on sale at the Inglewood General Store and Acoustic Traditions Music,

Orangeville, or call the church office at 905-838- 3512. Claude Presbyterian Church is

located at 15175 Hurontario Street, Caledon, 3.5 kilometres north of King Road.
