Election budget $110,000

Mayor Marolyn Morrison is elated after the last tabulator was reported showing she had been reelected as Caledon's mayor.

Caledon budgeted $110,000 for this year's municipal election.

Clerk Cheri Cowan said from that all printing costs of forms, signs, voter notification cards, ballots, advertising, postage, electronic tabulator rental, election staff, poll supplies, the cost of the inaugural, etc, are paid for.

She currently only has estimates of the actual cost. The final totals will become available as workers and invoices are paid. The final numbers aren't expected until after all the invoices have been received from the Dec. 5 inaugural meeting.
