RockStar is all about the music!

RockStar Music School & Concert Hall opened its doors this past July and the response has been overwhelming. The school has registered roughly 150 students in just four months and is currently getting ready for its first rock concert Saturday, Nov. 25.

Owners Tina and John Menoudakis decided that it was time to build a music school that emphasizes playing in bands and performing in their state-of-the-art concert hall. In addition to regular half-hour private lessons in guitar, drums, bass, vocal and piano, the teachers at RockStar aim to get their students to play with other band members and put on actual rock concerts.

The concert hall seats 140 people and is equipped with a stage, professional lighting and audio equipment, with snacks, popcorn and beverages available in the lobby. It is also available to rent for those looking to book bands or corporate events.

RockStar is a great place to bring the whole family to enjoy music. There is no alcohol served so all ages are welcome to enjoy the concerts. You can call 905-951- 3000 for more information about the year-round music programs or find out about upcoming concerts. They are located behind the McDonald's Plaza at 12612 Highway 50.
