Serious injury from collision

Monday, Oct. 30, Caledon OPP responded to a serious injury motor vehicle collision on McLaughlin Road, south of Old School Road.

A lone motor vehicle travelling northbound on McLaughlin Road, for reasons undetermined, lost control, veered into the west side ditch and collided with a tree.

The driver and sole occupant of the motor vehicle, Caledon resident Charles Bolton, 62, was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The roadway was closed to traffic for approximately five hours.

The investigation continues by Caledon OPP and the Highway Safety Division's Technical Traffic Collision Investigators.
