Sraga takes seat at LMCBO

The Town of Caledon has been recognized by the Large Municipalities Chief Building Officials group (LMCBO) with the appointment of Mark Sraga, director of building & bylaw enforcement/ chief building official, as chair to the LMCBO's executive committee.

Nominated by his LMCBO peers, Sraga will serve a two-year term to lead the 8-person executive committee. LMCBO is comprised of the chief building officials from 39 Ontario municipalities with populations of more than 50,000, and has been a strong advocate of building regulatory reform since its inception in 1990. The group is an effective forum for addressing the regulatory issues confronting large municipalities, and is an invaluable networking opportunity promoting high performance and uniformity across the province.
