Amigos hold Caledon fiesta

The Amigos de Caledon will hold their annual La Fiesta, Saturday, Nov. 11 at Glen Eagle Golf Club north of Bolton. The event, with a Latin-flavour, includes a dinner and dance. Live music with warm, tropical rhythms will be provided by Pablo Terry & Sol de Cuba Band, and DJ Ricco V.

Amigos de Caledon was founded three years ago by a small group of Spanishspeaking families who live in Caledon. They wondered, at the outset, just how many other families were in the area. They have now contacted more than 140 families in the area.

Amigos de Caledon is a non-profit group of people who like to share their Spanish heritage and culture. They want to be an integrated part of the Caledon community and are open to anyone who likes to enjoy some of the language, music or general culture.

The doors open at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 7:30. Tickets are $45 per person. The event is co-sponsored by Ricardo Aldrey of Royal LePage, and Ed Tello of Studio Ed Jewellers. For more, call Aldrey at 905- 857-0651 or Tello at 905- 951-8881.
