CEAC commended

Three outgoing members of the Caledon environmental advisory committee were commended by Caledon council recently for the contributions to CEAC and the community.

Don Webb and Pete Paterson have decided not to seek reappointment once their terms lapse Oct. 31. Simon Appolloni resigned from the committee earlier this year.

Council also appointed eight new CEAC members and reappointed six current CEAC members.

The eight new members include Hart Brasche, Christina Burns-Bruce, Gordon Cameron, Cat Cybulski, Donald Lobb, David Lyons, Dorothy Mazeau and Steve Saric.

Brasche, Burns-Bruce and Cameron will have oneyear terms from Nov. 1, 2006, to Oct. 31, 2007. Cybulski, Lobb, Lyons and Mazeau will serve two-year terms from Nov. 1, 2006, to Oct. 31, 2008. Saric was appointed to a three-year term from Nov. 1, 2006, to Oct. 31, 2009.

The six reappointed members include Katie Altoft, Graham Bryan, Neil Morris, Kari Morrison, Bryan Wilson and Bill Wilson.

Morrison will serve a one-year term from Nov. 1, 2006, to Oct. 31, 2007, while the other five will serve a three-year term from Nov. 1, 2006, to Oct. 31, 2009.
