Services are assumed

The municipal infrastructure in the Papertious Investments Inc. plan of subdivision was partially assumed by Caledon council recently.

The plan of subdivision is a residential development located west of Coleraine Drive, south of King Street West in Bolton. The subdivision comprises 285 lots and 16 townhouse blocks. It includes Carmichael Court, Emily Carr

Crescent, Frank Johnston Road, Ironhorse Crescent and

segments of Cedargrove Road, Harvest Moon Drive,

Grapevine Road and Lismer Crescent.

Andrew Pearce, manager of engineering and construction, told Councillor Nick deBoer the Town won't be assuming any services on Grapevine Road. The Town also won't assume any services for the storm water

management facility on Block 307. The developer must

remove any accumulation of sediment on the bottom of the

storm water management facility prior to assumption. It's

expected the developer will clean it out during the summer

of 2007 and then request assumption of the facility.

The assumption of this subdivision means about 5.2

kilometres of roadway and associated municipal services

including storm sewer, street lighting and streetscaping will

be added to the Town's network of infrastructure.
