Kinsmen host Bolton debate

The Kinsmen Club of Bolton will be hosting a candidates' debate at the Albion Bolton Community Centre Wednesday, Oct. 25, starting at 7 p.m. The evening will begin with Wards 3 & 4 candidate sessions, then school trustees and mayoral sessions, then Ward 5 candidates as the ending sessions. Specific starting times for each of these sessions will be announced once the candidates advise organizers of their intentions to participate.

The format of the evening will give each candidate time for introductory statements. Following these remarks, each candidate will be allowed an opportunity to pose a question to their opponents. The floor will then be opened to questions from the audience.

Moderator for the evening will be Kinsmen George denHaan. "My job will be to keep a tight schedule, maintain a lively pace, while at the same time giving each candidate fair and equal time," said denHaan.

Kinsmen are providing this meeting as a community service and welcome all area voters to attend free of charge. Coffee and water will be available.
