Exemption for pool denied

A request for an exemption to the swimming pool enclosure bylaw was denied by Caledon council.

Gregg McKibbon asked council for an exemption to the required fence along the western boundary of 48 King St. in Bolton, but his request was turned down.

Mark Sraga, director of building and bylaw e n f o r c e m e n t , recommended refusal of the exemption because of the risk to children who could gain access to the property through Toronto and Region Conservation Authority land.
