Story times at the library

The Caledon Public Library offers a variety of story times for babies and young children at all seven branches throughout Caledon. The Babies 'N Books program is fun and stimulating for the youngest patrons, ages 6-18 months. Come prepared to sing, play and enjoy enchanting stories. The Tales for Tots program is specifically designed for 2- and 3-year-olds accompanied by an adult. Activities will captivate this younger crowd's attention including stories, finger plays, music crafts and more.

The Preschool Story Time is designed for children ages 3 to 6 that are ready to "be on their own." Development of listening and social skills is encouraged through a participatory program of stories, music, crafts, finger plays and rhymes.

New this year is French Preschool Story Time. This program is designed for children ages 4-6 who enjoy and understand stories in French. The development of verbal and listening skills is emphasized through stories, music and crafts.

The cost of all story time classes is $20 and they run for 10 weeks. Registration for all programs has begun, so call soon. For a schedule of programs call or visit any branch of the Caledon Public Library or visit their Web site at www.caledon.library.on.ca.
