SHARE THE ROAD EVENT
Sunday, Oct. 1, the first annual Share the Road ride took place in Halton. The ride

was held in memory of the late Sergeant Greg Stobbart of Caledon OPP, who died

this past June when he was hit by a dump truck while cycling on Tremaine Road near

Derry Road in Milton. The event involved more than 250 cyclists. Shown are Caledon

detachment commander, Inspector Andy Karski, Eleanor McMahon (widow of Greg

Stobbart) and Staff Sgt. Sweeney.
