Bolton Banter group formed

Eric Solowka (president of Bolton Banter), Mayor Marolyn Morrison, Jillian Lucas (vice-president education), Jane Collier (sergeant at arms), Terence Canastraro (secretary) and Eva Britton (vice-president membership) herald the new Toastmasters club, the Bolton Banter.
August 3, Mayor Morrison and her husband John Morrison were guests of the Bolton Banter Toastmasters. The mayor presented a plaque and official congratulations from the Town of Caledon to the Bolton Banters, who recently received charter status from Toastmasters International.

The presentation of the charter by incoming District 60 president Kathleen Wong took place at a special meeting and celebration held June 29 at Shoeless Joe's.

Toastmasters is an organization dedicated to helping people from all walks of life develop public speaking and leadership skills in a supportive environment.

Bolton Banter meets every first, third and fifth Thursday of the month in Room E of the Albion Bolton Community Centre. Meetings start at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. If you want to learn more about Toastmasters, please join them. Guests are always welcome.
