Poetry contest winners noted

Winners of the first annual Friends of the Caledon Public Library poetry-writing contest for adults were recently announced. The winners were 1st place, $100 to Joan McGuire, Solitudes; 2nd place, $75 to Linda Hurley, Winter Cookery; 3rd place, $50 to Zinta Meyer, Singular. The Friends of the Caledon Library would like to thank all those who participated and to the esteem judges, Mark Pavilons, editor of the Caledon Citizen and Robert McAlpine, poet and author.
