Meals on Wheels Week proclaimed

Caledon council recently proclaimed Oct. 1-5 as National Meals on Wheels Week in Caledon.

Caledon Meals on Wheels has been serving Caledon residents since 1984. More than 18,000 meals are delivered annually to the elderly and disabled by many dedicated volunteers.

Volunteers also attend to the emotional and social needs of clients through in-home visiting, group social dining and personal daily contacts.
