Two arrest warrants executed

A search warrant was executed Wednesday, Sept. 20, at a residence on Old Church Road in Caledon. Several special units of Caledon OPP were involved with this initial search warrant, as well as support and assistance from York Regional Police Drug Unit and York Regional Police Air Support Unit. As a result of this residential search, two arrest warrants were issued.

Caledon HEAT and Crime Unit members executed the outstanding warrants arresting both men without incident.

Twenty-seven-year-old Anh Tuan Tran was arrested in Toronto Wednesday, Sept. 27 at approximately 11:48 a.m. Thirty-five-year-old Honghai Tran was arrested in Toronto Thursday, Sept. 28 at approximately 9:15 a.m. Both men are charged with: * Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marihuana. * Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking. * Production Schedule II (cannabis marihuana). * Theft of Electricity. * Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence. Bail hearings for both were held Sept. 28 at the Orangeville Court house.
