Belfountain Salamander Festival

The overcast conditions didn't dampen the spirits of Belfountain's annual Salamander Festival Saturday. Visitors flocked to enjoy the pancake breakfast served up by volunteers. Members of the Allegro Children's Orchestra (top) performed some classical pieces for the receptive crowds at the festival. Margaret Whiteley and Myfanwy Douglas manned the bake table with proceeds going to the Belfountain Community Planning Organization.
