Gallery Gemma Inc. opens

Anne-Marie Warburton's dream comes true this weekend with the opening of Gallery Gemma in Alton.
This Thanksgiving weekend in the village of Alton, Anne-Marie Warburton's dream of opening a jewellery store that specializes in designer and one of a kind jewellery is coming true.

While building a successful career in sales, and raising her family, Anne-Marie also nurtured her passion for exceptional gems and jewellery. Studying with the Gemological Institute of America, she graduated from their jewellery business management course, as well as working steadily on her graduate gemology diploma.

This association with the world's most recognized leader in the jewellery industry opened doors and introduced her to valuable contacts and sources literally around the world.

"The highlight of my association with GIA was our trip last year to Europe to meet with the leaders in the diamond industry, making lasting connections that I can use to benefit my customers," she said.

Warburton also studied metalsmithing throughout North America, traveling where ever necessary to learn the skills of the trade from the jeweller's bench.

"My goal has been from the start to bring together the fabulous work of the designers and artists from around the world while combining it with my own work and offer it for sale in a relaxed and friendly gallery atmosphere," she added.

Please come and join the celebration this Thanksgiving weekend, Oct. 7, 8 and 9.
