Condo gets draft approval
By ALAN LICZYK Staff Reporter

Draft approval to a plan of condominium for 90 to 134 Rolling Hills Lane in Bolton was granted by Caledon council recently.

The applicant, Bolton Lands G.P. Inc., wants to create a common element condominium about 0.2 hectares (0.5 acres), consisting of a private road, open space blocks and retaining walls within a draft approved plan of subdivision consisting of 31 freehold townhouse units.

Peel region indicated adequate sanitary sewer and water service is available to support this development.

The existing zoning approved by the Ontario Municipal Board permits the townhouse development. The site plan was also approved by the OMB and the condominium units are now under construction. Stormwater management, landscaping and parking were dealt with through the subdivision and site plan review process.

Councillor Annette Groves noted there were concerns from residents of Connaught Crescent about an adjacent drain located on the valley land.

Planning director Mary Hall told her it's not the Town's drain and it should be maintained by the owner of the land.
