COMMEMORATIVE SIGN
Heritage Caledon launched its commemorative sign

program with the recent erection of this sign on the

site of the former Albion Hotel in the heart of Caledon

East (southeast corner of Airport Road and Old

Church Road). Commemorating the sites of historic

events or significant buildings which have been lost to

the community through fire or demolition, these signs

are being produced in collaboration with the Town's

Heritage Resource Office, local historical societies

and other community partners. Heritage Caledon

wishes to thank the Caledon East & District Historical

Society for their generous donation toward the Albion

Hotel interpretive plaque. Shown are (l to r) Sally

Drummond, heritage resource officer; Fay McCrea,

commemorative sign committee chair; Joan

Boyington, president of Caledon East and District

Historical Society; Andy Priede, chair, Heritage

Caledon.
