Additional charges against retired OPP officer

Caledon OPP investigators laid an additional 17 criminal charges against Robert George Lewis, 59, of Fenelon Falls.

OPP investigators originally charged Lewis with four sexual offences Aug. 21, following allegations of crimes committed against two victims between 1975 and 1979. This continuing investigation is under the restrictions of a publication ban.

OPP investigators, Sept. 19, charged Lewis with 6 counts of gross indecency, 5 counts of indecent assault, 3 counts of sexual exploitation and 3 counts of sexual assault.

The allegations currently involve nine victims and 21 criminal charges.
