Share the Road cycling event in memory of Caledon officer Traffic Caledon OPP officers responded to seven property damage and five personal injury collisions during the week of Sept. 11-18. Alcohol and Driving Friday, Sept. 15, Caledon officers attended an address on Amberdale Court in Caledon responding to a mischief complaint. Homeowners advised the officers that three females were throwing rocks at the home causing damage to the property. Eighteen-year-old Karly Reis of Brampton and 19-year-old Chantelle Stoyanoff of Markham have both been charged with Mischief. They will appear in court Oct. 12. A third female, 23-year-old Resia Stoyanoff of Markham was charged with Impaired Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle, Resist Arrest, Failure to Provide Suitable Breath Sample, Utter Threats and Mischief. She will appear in court Oct. 19 to answer to these charges. Mischief Thursday, Sept. 14, a vehicle parked on Wright Crescent in Bolton was entered but nothing was reported stolen. Sunday, Sept. 17, a mailbox located on Kennedy Road was damaged by firecrackers. Sunday, Sept. 17, a vehicle's tires were slashed while left parked overnight at a Landsbridge Street residence in Bolton. Stolen and Recovered Vehicles Monday, Sept. 11, a locked vehicle was reported stolen from the driveway of a Queensland Crescent home in Bolton during the night hours. Another vehicle was reported stolen the same evening from an address on Frustac Trail and a third from a driveway on Fountainbridge Drive in Bolton. Tuesday, Sept. 12, a forklift was reported stolen from the rear parking lot of a business on Healey Road. The theft occurred sometime over the weekend. Wednesday, Sept. 13, a vehicle that was left unlocked and keys in the ignition was stolen from a driveway of a Heart Lake Road residence. A second vehicle at that location was entered and items were taken from inside. Items include the car stereo, hockey equipment and a wallet. Wednesday, Sept. 13, a vehicle was removed from a Cedar Drive driveway sometime overnight. The vehicle had been left unlocked and a key in the console. It was located in the morning further down the street at a location where a second vehicle was reported stolen. Two other vehicles on Cedar Drive were reported entered and a cell phone has been reported stolen. Wednesday, Sept. 13, a vehicle that had been stolen from Strawberry Hill Court in Bolton was located abandoned on Charleston Sideroad near McLaren Road in Caledon Village. The keys were found in the ignition and damage had been caused to the body and paint of the vehicle. Thursday, Sept. 14, a vehicle previously stolen from Peel Regional Police jurisdiction was located abandoned and burned. The vehicle located on Escarpment Road near Heart Lake Road was completely destroyed by fire. Share the Road June 6, Caledon OPP Sergeant Greg Stobbart was killed during a bicycle-training ride on Termaine Road in Halton Region. Greg was an avid athlete and cycling enthusiast. He is the third cyclist to be killed while training on Termaine Road in the last few years. Created in Greg's memory "Share the Road" is a 60kilometre charity and awareness ride which will take place Oct. 1, in Milton. The objective of the ride is to heighten awareness about the need for drivers and cyclists to share the road safely and the importance of creating safer roads for cyclists.
