Ignoring infraction

As I was going west on King Street in Bolton July 9 at 2 p.m., approaching the town line, I witnessed a Ministry of the Environment car in front of me going into the left hand turn lane to avoid the car in front of him turning right. Now there was no need for him to do this except to get where he was going a little faster.

Not only was this against the law, but what really caught me eye was the fact that there across the street watching him do this was a police officer. This law enforcement officer actually watched this ministry officer do something they both knew was wrong, so he made a u-turn and followed him for about 15 seconds and turned off. He didn't even turn on his lights. Maybe he had a more important call, maybe he had more pressing worries, but none the less, a person had broken the law and it was witnessed, and forgotten about by a law enforcement officer.
