Stolen pickup truck found with keys in the ignition Traffic Caledon OPP officers responded to 11 property damage and six personal injury collisions during the week of Sept. 4-11. Alcohol and Driving Monday, Sept. 4, officers responding to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 9 near Airport Road arrested an involved driver. Fiftyfive year-old Leslie Glanville of Walton, Ontario was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle-Over 80 mgs. Of Alcohol in 100 mls. Of Blood. He will appear in court Oct. 5. Tuesday, Sept. 5, a vehicle stopped for a Highway Traffic Act violation resulted in the driver receiving a criminal charge. Thirty-sixyear old Andrea Nesbitt of Caledon was stopped on Glasgow Road near Chickadee Lane. She will appear in court Oct. 12, charged with Drive Motor Vehicle-Over 80 mgs. Of Alcohol in 100 mls. Of Blood. Wednesday, Sept. 6, officers conducted a traffic stop on Albion Vaughan Road near Dovaston Gate in Bolton for a Highway Traffic Act violation. As a result of that traffic stop, 48-year-old Gino Cimino of Caledon was charged with several charges. He was held for a bail hearing charged with Drive Motor Vehicle-Over 80 mgs. Of Alcohol in 100 mls. Of Blood, Drive Disqualified, Fail to Comply with Recognizance, Breach of Recognizance and Disobey Stop Sign. Due to the Drive Disqualified charge the vehicle was impounded under the Vehicle Impoundment Program. Drugs Wednesday, Sept. 6, a vehicle stop on Chinguacousy Road north of Mayfield Road resulted in a charge for the vehicle's passenger. Twenty-two-year-old Christopher Parisee of Brampton was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance-Marihuana. He will appear in court Oct. 9. Recovered Vehicles Monday, Sept. 4, two trailers were stolen from a Simpson Road business during the early morning hours after culprit(s) broke through a fence gate to gain access to the trailers. Thursday, Sept. 7, three vehicles were reported stolen during the early morning hours. Two of the vehicles were parked at Strawberry Hill homes and one at an Esposito residence. One of the vehicles from Strawberry Hill was recovered on Esposito Drive and the vehicle stolen from Esposito was recovered in Brampton after it had been driven into a tree. Saturday, Sept. 9, a pickup truck was stolen from the driveway of a Strawberry Hill residence during the early morning hours. The vehicle was recovered in a parking lot off of Coleraine Drive in Bolton, with the keys still in the ignition. The vehicle's radio had been stolen as well as small change and tools. Theft Monday, Sept. 4, culprit( s) pulled up to a business operating out of tent on a King Street property in Caledon. Items stolen from the tent include a cash register, scale and portable radio. Thursday, Sept. 7, several residents in Bolton's southeast area near Allan Drive report their vehicles had been entered during the night hours. Some incidents involved items of value being taken from within. Friday, Sept. 8, a double gated entry to a McLaughlin Road property was entered by the cutting of a locking system. An auger and a wood chipper were stolen from the property. Domestic Disputes Caledon OPP officers responded to 10 domestic disputes between Sept. 4-10. No charges were laid. |
