Green fund allocation

Caledon council recently authorized releasing $1,000 from the Community Green Fund to give to Citizens for a Clean Caledon for a pesticide exchange event.

The pesticide exchange will encourage citizens to dispose of old pesticides while advocating the use of alternative lawn care products. CCC intends to provide each resident who brings in pesticides with a free compact fluorescent light bulb and a chance to win a wagon full of lawn and garden items.
