Take Back the Night event

Protesting together to end violence against women and children in Peel is the theme behind Take Back the Night, Thursday, Sept. 14 from 69 p.m. at Gage Park in Brampton. On tap will be a community display and market venue tables, a wen-do demonstration, remarks by Mayor Susan Fennell and various entertainment. The keynote speaker will be a survivor, Bridgette. The event is presented by the Sexual Assault/Rape Crisis Centre of Peel in collaboration with Peel committees and groups.
