Stop by Kettleby Fair

Escape for the day to the Kettleby Fair. Come create family memories. This oldtime fair boasts traditional family fun with lots to see and do.

Come see a former Canadian Idol contestant Brock Groombridge. Move your body to old-time Canadian bush swing performed by Ontario's own Flapjack; enjoy some homegrown music by Geoff Perry. Treat the kids to the sounds and smells of our featured farm animals. Challenge them to a putting game, let their creative juices flow and have them decorate a cookie. Cheer on the fly-ball dogs. Meet the crafters, buy their wares. Come flex your muscle and ring the bell. Tantalize your taste buds with the everpopular bacon on a bun. Fill your belly with kettle corn, fresh fruit and other sweet things. Try your luck at the loonie draw, perhaps you will win the ever-coveted iPod, or a $300 gift certificate from the Yorkdale Shopping Centre.

Saturday, Sept. 9, the historic hamlet of nearby Kettleby will host its 30th fair in scenic Tyrwhitt Park located in rural King Township, located on Kettleby Road. Free shuttle bus service will be provided.

The fairgrounds open at 10 a.m. and the parade takes place at noon. Kettleby Road will be closed to traffic for the day so take a stroll and check out the historic plaques displayed on 24 buildings, or park yourself on a straw bale and enjoy the food and top-notch grounds entertainment.
