Wood carving at seniors' centre

Professional wood carver Jack Middleton invites you to join the Humber Valley Wood Carvers for an enjoyable afternoon or evening of instruction in the art of carving. Broaden your horizons as you develop a new skill, in a supportive environment of carvers working at various levels. Don't know a gouge froma scoop? You will. Jack will advise you on the basic tools and those to purchase. you will be guided through hands-on projects. Your only limit is your imagination.

Join over 30 members strong and growing. Welcome to all 18 years and over. Lessons are held weekly at the Caledon Senior Centre, 7 Rotarian Way, Bolton (snuggled behind the wellness Centre). Classes will commence the week of Sept. 11, running Sept. 11 1-3:30 p.m. and Sept. 14 7-9 p.m. A modest fee of $3/member of the centre and $4/non will be charged for each class.
