Paul Zammit visits B&DHS
By Patti Baker

Dynamic gardening expert Paul Zammit will be speaking at the Bolton & District Horticultural Society when meetings resume Thursday, Sept. 7 at 7:15 p.m. at the Caledon Centre for Recreation & Wellness.

A frequent visitor to the B&DHS, Zammit will be presenting a talk and slide show on ornamental grasses. The topic couldn't be timelier as these garden essentials wave their tall plumes in the breeze and provide the foliage backdrop for many of summer's fading perennial blooms, continuing their show throughout the winter.

Zammit, as one of the leaders in perennial gardening, brings his formidable knowledge and energetic style to his lectures and never fails to keep his audience entertained and eager to take advantage of his ideas.

Tickets may be purchased at the door for $3 per person or $2 for members of other horticultural societies. Memberships are available for $15 or $20 per family. For further information, call Cathy Brown at 905-857-1460.
