Canada's greenest home show returns

September 30 and Oct. 1, the second annual Green Energy Home Show, the largest exhibition of energy conservation workshops, tours and demonstrations in Canada, will take place at the Kortright Centre for Conservation in Vaughan. The show is sponsored by TRCA, PowerStream Inc. and Windfall Ecology Centre.

Running 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, the show features two levels of indoor and outdoor green vendor displays of the latest in green technologies (e.g. energy-efficient lighting, meters, and heating and cooling systems); workshops and seminars on going green including ecorenovations, new building design and solar wind energy; exhibits of Canada's archetype sustainable house design competition & meet the winners; green energy tours; solar cooking demonstration (weather permitting).

Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for students, seniors and children. Parking is $3.
