South hill 'madness'
To the merchants on Bolton's south hill, we would like to thank everyone for participating in our events during Midnight Madness. The south hill too, was a mass of activity. There were pony rides, live music, skateboard demonstrations, in-store activities and sales. Thanks to the following merchants who donated prizes for the south hill "I Spy" contest (through which we collected $100 for Caledon Community Services): Arcadia Music, Canadian Tire, Christine's Flowers, Dairy Queen, Forster's Book Garden, Giant Tiger, Global Pets, Herbal One and UPS Store. Many personal thanks to our pyjama storytime reader Angie Steckley. Thanks too, go to Summit Dodge and Bolton Toyota for the vans which shuttled people up and down the hill all night. For those who chose to walk and needed sustenance, Country Style Donuts offered free donuts with a coffee purchase. The open stores offered sales and activities which meant the south hill was abuzz with activity all evening. Hope everyone had a great time. See ya next year!
