Confused by mayor's priorities

It hurts too much to laugh!

Am I the only person who is confused by our mayor's priorities? I read her campaign column (hidden under the title "Mayor's Report") every couple weeks and see her photo everywhere and can't help but wonder who is minding the shop?

Our roads are in no better shape than three years ago; we have no new facilities; our taxes keep going up, and our relationship with Mississauga is at an all-time low! And what makes me laugh and saddened at the same time is our traditional New Year's Levee isn't even on New Year's Day because she's away on an annual vacation!

When are we all going to wake up and have someone who is level-minded; doesn't hang around ribbon cuttings and actually does what they say?

Now I know there will be lots of campaign announcements over the next couple of months and lots of shovels in the ground (and if you're lucky, Your Worship, lots more ribbon cuttings!). I don't know about the rest of Caledon, but I can tell you that I'm not fooled by her performance over the past three years and I am looking for a real leader.
