Man dies after motorcycle crash

A 50-year-old Brampton man died in hospital after his motorcycle crashed on a Caledon road, Aug. 17 just before 1:55 p.m.

Douglas Pountney succumbed to his injuries a short time after the single motor vehicle collision. He crashed on Mayfield Road east of Bramalea Road.

Caledon OPP officers responded to the scene. The police are continuing their investigation into this tragic incident and any witnesses are encouraged to call Caledon OPP at 905-5842241.
