Free vacation bible school at Palgrave United

For the first time in many years, Palgrave United Church, 34 Pine Ave., Palgrave (one block east of Regional Road 50) is offering a free vacation bible school for boys and girls ages six to 10.

The sessions will include stories, crafts, music, refreshment and activity times, and will run Monday to Thursday Aug. 21-24 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25 when parents and friends are invited to join the children at 11 a.m. for their "show" and pizza lunch. Although there is no cost to the program, you must call by Saturday, Aug. 19 to register your child/children to ensure there's enough snacks and craft supplies.
