Plenty of entertainment for Friday's Midnight Madness

The Bolton Business Improvement Area is presenting its annual Midnight Madness celebration this Friday, Aug. 18 in downtown Bolton featuring a full lineup of entertainment.

A couple of bands will be performing on stage, namely New Hollywood and Your New Neighbours.

Miss Jenni Jennifer Fulton will provide children's entertainment.

Also featured is Steven George's CanTai Kungfu & Martial Arts Club. There will be a lion dance on stage and martial arts demonstration in the courtyards.

The Harvest Market parking lot will be the site for a dunk tank and a jump & bounce.

The Flipside mobile skatepark and rock climbing wall will be in the courtyards.

For those looking for a bite to eat, Harvest Market will be holding a barbecue. Also serving up some food will be the Palgrave and Bolton Rotary Clubs and the Kinsemen Club of Bolton. Also check out Zaganella's gelato and Sheila Lewis's candy floss.

The merchants of historic downtown Bolton and uptown will be holding sidewalk sales. This is your chance to support them.

Also check out the BIA's T-shirts and glow sticks. There will be free draws with ballots located at the BIA table.

Shuttle buses will be available courtesy of Bolton Toyota and Summit Dodge.

Queen Street will be closed from Mill Street to King Street from 6 p.m. to midnight.
